5 Aspects Affecting the ACP Quality
There are about 5 aspects which affect the quality of ACP: 1. inner material -- polyethylene/PE; 2. aluminum skin; 3. macromolecules film/sticking film; 4. coating/surface finishing; 5. the technology of laminating/processing.
1. Inner material -- polyethylene/PE: the PE we are using with 20% recycled and 80% brand new. If the percentage of recycled PE is much higher, the ACP is very easy to break, and will effect the flatness of the panel surface and its life.
2. Aluminum skin: it is very hard to check the thickness of the aluminum skin, for example, you ordered
3. Macromolecule film/sticking film: this material is used for sticking the PE and the aluminum skins. If its quality is not good or it is very thin, it could not stick the PE and the aluminum skins firmly, in that case, the peeling strength is very small, and several years later there will be bubbles, heaves on the surface, even the aluminum skin will peel off with the PE.
4. Coating/surface finishing: this working procedure is very important, the surface looking, including the color all depends on surface finishing. For PVDF coating, it is acid resistance, alkali resistance and UV/ultraviolet resistance. Besides the thickness of coating, coating adhesive and coating flexibility all is part of the quality of the panel. If the coating is not good, maybe the color will fade within 3 to 5 years, or even earlier.
5. The technology of laminating/processing: our production line is German Siemens and fully automatic control. The laminating roller is stainless steel rollers; this can ensure the flatness of the panel surface. The temperature and the speed, etc, all is controlled by the machine, if it is operated by hand, it is hard to control these parameters very exactly, and it will effect the quality of panel.
